Privacy Policy
Who I am
MapleWell is made by Melih Yalçın, an independent developer ("I", "me"). If you have any question about this policy or your data, write to melihblacklash@gmail.com.
Data the game itself handles
- Your saved farm and settings (crops, animals, coins, gems, progress, volume, graphics options) are stored in the app's own storage on your device. They are never sent to me or anyone else. If you delete the app, they are deleted too.
- No account, no sign-in. The game doesn't ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information.
- No analytics of my own. I don't run any tracking, analytics or crash-reporting service.
In-app purchases (iPhone and iPad)
Gems, the Starter Pack and Remove Ads are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. I never see your payment details, your Apple ID or your name. The game only learns which item you bought, so it can hand it to you, and it stores that on your device. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Ads (iPhone and iPad edition)
The free edition shows a banner, occasional full-screen ads and optional reward videos. These come from Google AdMob, a service by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. To serve, cap, measure and protect ads against fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
| Data | Used for | Linked to you? |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifiers: the advertising ID (IDFA), only if you allow tracking, and the app-scoped vendor ID | Showing and measuring ads, and frequency capping | No |
| Rough location, worked out from your IP address (country or region) | Showing ads that fit your region and following local law | No |
| Ad interactions (which ads were shown and tapped) | Measuring ads and preventing fraud | No |
| Diagnostics (crash and performance data of the ad SDK) | Keeping ads working | No |
Ads in MapleWell are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences.
Your choices
- Tracking (all regions): the first time ads start, iOS asks whether MapleWell may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the advertising ID isn't shared and you'll see non-personalised ads. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): before any ad, a consent form from Google lets you accept or refuse personalised ads and data processing. You can change your choice anytime in the game: Menu → Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Remove Ads: buying Remove Ads switches off banners and full-screen ads. Reward videos stay available but are always optional.

PC edition
MapleWell for PC has no ads and no in-game store, and sends no data anywhere. The store you bought it from handles your purchase under its own privacy policy.
Children
MapleWell is rated for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. The game has no chat and no user-generated content. Ads are limited to general-audience content. If you are a parent and think data about your child was collected through the ads, contact me and I'll help you reach Google to have it removed.
How long data is kept
Your game data stays on your device until you delete the app. I hold no data about you. Google keeps ad data according to its own policy linked above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, the CCPA/CPRA in California or KVKK in Türkiye), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for me to hand over or delete. For ad-related data you can use the choices above or contact Google directly. You can also write to me and I'll help.
I don't sell your personal information.
Security
Your saves never leave your device, and the ad SDK and Apple's store connect over encrypted HTTPS.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app's update notes.
